For the bridge project 2, we had to make hybrid Avatar which contained characteristics of my partner and I. Since we are living in an same environment which are New York Manhattan and mostly University Center to do the homework, we selected to construct The New School university center. Firstly, we chose to do the base of the UC by clay since it is tangible in making and we had to construct very small part as well to describe it to look like real building. The top of the building is made by a box we got from buying a clay and we drew lines and some shadows by acrylic paints in order to make the window show more real. Though, I have some regret that I could have sticked in lot of cellophane in order to show the reflection as well. And for the clay, it could have been colored with various colors and if “The New School” quote was in the structure indicating more clearly to show that it’s university center, it would be better. The base of the whole piece was made by cardboard colored with gray and since it was during constructing, the wood are put up randomly by will this also means that since we are freshman, we are still building up our skill to actually master in adjusting to Parsons. The avatar itself was colored by me and it was a combination of cat women and the spiderman which are the favorite characters of each of us. He/She is standing on the UC so that at the end of the year hopefully or after few years we can know and master our way to be mastering in our own majors. The orange cone which have a form of both mountain and hat was placed in the road since it also looks like the road cone and doesn’t looks awkward but it was mad to represent mountain which stands for Troy loving to climb mountains and the hat which represents my childhood when I thought I would be sorted in a house in Hogwarts and I was sad of the fact that I was muggle when I was young by the influence of my parents not telling me that it’s fiction.
